I'm a versatile content marketer, copywriter, and communications strategist with more than 15 years of experience managing brands and writers.
Throughout my career, I've become adept at learning new industries quickly and translating complex products and problems into clear, captivating content. I've worked in in-house roles and on the agency side on brands spanning tech, financial services, healthcare, the arts, and education. I got my start in marketing as a jack-of-all-trades digital strategist at the British Council, learned to churn out crisp copy and fresh ideas in the creative department at Hill Holliday, dug deeper into healthcare and B2B tech at athenahealth, and led a global content and communications team at Bullhorn, a software provider to the staffing industry.
I've managed and mentored teams of writers and designers and developed networks of freelance creatives to expand upon in-house resources. While I love building high-performing teams, I can also help an existing team scale when hiring budgets are scarce, through a mix of well-defined processes and strategic thinking to get the most out of every piece of content produced.
But at the end of the day, I'm a writer and storyteller at heart. Whether working with individual leaders, teams, or in support of a brand, I thrive in opportunities that push me to write copy that breaks through the noise and connects with its audience.
I earned my B.A. in English and art history from Wellesley College and my M.A. in Communication, Culture, and Technology from Georgetown University. I live in the Boston area with my husband and two daughters.
